We were honored at CPS Walt Disney Magnet School to have the Sec. of State and Illinois State Librarian Jesse White visit our Library and launch National Library Week April 14-18. As I stated, Libraries are were I grew up thanks to a great Dad who took me to our Public Library every Saturday. That set a pattern for the rest of my life and here I am a Librarian for Chicago Public Schools after a wonderful career in the Fine Arts. Thank you, Greg Landgraf and all the AL staff for focusing on us at Disney and to Principal Dr. Kathleen Hagstrom for her vision of a great school Library. Joan Schenk
