Kareem Abdul-Jabbar interview

A true model for human advancement, Kareem (and there really is only one) has demonstrated in his athletic career, his love of jazz, and as spoken here in this wonderful interview, his recollection of and continued commitment to the importance of libraries in shaping the educational course of a person. This sharing of resources - the ability to check out books and other materials, freely - is key to our growth and betterment as a society and a civilization.

Kudos to ALA for getting to him to address the conference in Philadelphia.
