Libraries as solutions
Well said.
Last Friday, many California librarians visited their legislators in their district offices. Today, I drafted my thank you letter, ending up with a message for my legislator to think of libraries as solutions.
In American Libraries Direct, a few items before this, I read about the Womens Day/ALA essay contest on how the library helped in bad economic times.
Let's keep it up. Keep telling stories of how libraries are shelters in the (economic) storm. Best wishes. Jackie S
