"Wheel of Confusion #2" Transcript

AL: The American Library Association can be a complicated organization, even for the people who work here. So join us as we learn a thing or two and shed some light on a few mysteries with a simple little game we call the ALA Wheel of Confusion. So we're here today with Karen Muller to talk about longest acronym, possibly in ALA history, the RTSDCCSSAC.

Muller: No, that’s only will first part of it. Actually, the American Libraries are not polytonic, they named us as the committee with the longest name: The Resources and Technical Services Division Cataloging and Classification Section Subject Analysis Committee Subcommittee on the Naming of Works of Art, Architecture and Analogous Artifacts. (Applause)

AL: That's an acronym right there for you people.
